About the Speakers:

Paul Kim has spent the bulk of his career as a key innovator and architect in the ETF industry. Previously, as head of ETF strategy and portfolio manager at Principal Global Investors, Paul launched and built Principal’s $3+ billion ETF business from the ground up. As senior vice president and ETF product manager at PIMCO, Paul helped launch and establish PIMCO’s $20+ billion ETF platform of fixed income ETFs. Paul is a frequent contributor to ETF industry panels as well as financial media including Bloomberg, Wall Street Journal, and Financial Times. Paul has an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Dartmouth College, and is a CFA charterholder. Paul and his wife, Cathy, are the proud parents of three young daughters and active volunteers in their children’s school communities.

Tad Park has been part of small startup software engineering teams for the past 6 years.  He was the first Senior Software Engineer of Sonder’s Series B round, and witnessed firsthand how software that started with just a handful of engineers disrupted entrenched incumbents and accelerated Sonder’s growth to become a billion dollar company. Tad also experienced firsthand the cultural aspects that propelled Sonder to success compared to what others in the industry were doing. Tad has a B.S. in Environmental Economics and Policy Management from the University of California, Berkeley. Tad and his wife, Jennifer, love raising their four kids in the San Francisco Bay Area.
